I don’t have allergies, but my husband has allergies and Claritin works well for him. My friend’s son was taking Zyrtec and it didn’t seem to help him, from what I understood.

It depends on what works for you. Some people don’t get relief from one but will the other. The advantage of Claritin is that it’s not supposed to make you sleepy but Zyrtec can.

You can get a small pack of both and see which works best for you, or ask if you can get samples from your doctor.

I take Claritin for seasonal allergies and it works great. I heard Zyrtec can cause drowsiness, my friend who takes this attests to this.
