Inexplicable ankle pain …. please help?
Ok try this as best I can explain. A week ago I was on the top of my foot swelling with pain when I went I think it was due to run for a friends dog loose in my work boots up and down has a slope. Not just the choice of shoes, it started in. The pain on Thursday evening to do, there was a burning sensation, which became worse when I put some weight on it, on top of the foot more towards the little toe side tried. Friday and Saturday, it seemed better to me as stupid but I decided to meet some friends Saturday night. It was harder to go limp and I was to the end of the night. It was the burning pain again, but worse. Once I made of him, and took some Motrin, it seemed to calm down. The next morning I woke up with a swollen ankle on both sides and on the top of the foot where the shin bone meet your foot. With pain below the actual ankle on both sides, but more pain on the outside It was very reddish purple when it is not increased. I also had pain in the Achilles tendon and the bottom of the heel. It was impossible to walk for a few days, I had to use crutches. I went to my GP, I was informed to take Motrin for pain, ice the ankle and increase it. The use of a compression wrap. I had an xray which was normal. It is now nine days after waking up to, and I can walk again, the pain is getting better and the swelling ging.Meine concern is exactly what makes this sound? I did not roll my ankle that night at all .. It is still very stiff and the range of motion is limited. Difficulty in bending my foot all the way. I still feel pain on the outside of the ankle, below him. Can I do something to remedy the situation? How long (est), do you think will take to heal, be added that the stiffness is now on the outside of the ankle, below the actual “ankle” bones have Best Answer (s):.

you do not have to hurt the ankle have a sprain in his foot. Wherever tendons and ligaments with a common connection is a place you can have a sprain. A sprain can take longer to heal than a fracture can occur because bone regenerates quite easily. Required some sprains operation to reduce. I’m sure your doctor has the ibuprofen continues (Motrin), because helping the anti-inflammatory properties of this med. Keep the foot raised as much as possible. It should improve with time. If not, see the doc again and ask for a referral to an ortho doc. Just do not go to dance, wants to the foot!
