No really. Most OB / GYNs will tell you to start taking 300-600 mg Motrin / Ibuprofin every 4-6 hours for a few days before you expect to have your period. It is really really helps. As far as I know, it has no effect on fertility. It is not recommended that you do when you know that you suspect pregnancy, but chances are, if your monthly fiend (not misspelled … when I cramp it’s not my friend, and I have my fallopian tubes have, so now it is a useless function of the body and a nuisance … I digress) Anyway, feel free to call your GYN nurse for more information. They do this for a living! Hugs and love.

If you allergic to aspirin and its derivatives, there is absolutely no risk of painkillers for menstrual cramps. They will not barren, and neither is the pill. Some people can have a sour stomach, so you should take them with food. You can connect up to three 200 mg Advil pills {600 mgs total}. Every six hours, if your cramps are really bad, for mild cramping, one or two pills can be enough Aleve Naproxen {} is even better for menstrual cramps, but tend to cause more stomach upset than Advil. My daughter is three 200 mg every six hours Advils around the clock for their cramps, unfortunately they can not tolerate Aleve, because she suffers from irritable bowel syndrome. A heating pad on your lower abdomen down, or soaking in a warm bath can also help a lot. If you are allergic to aspirin, you should not be done or one of its derivatives: Bayer, Midol, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosyn all contain aspirin or its derivatives. In this case you should Tylenol, Panadol acetaminophen or two 500 mg tablets every 4 to 6 hours.
